Magnolia grandiflora ‘Little Gem’
This slow-growing Magnolia forms a compact, narrow shape, making it an ideal choice for the border or patio containers in urban gardens. The glossy green leaves are evergreen and have a velvet-like, cinnamon-coloured appearance to the undersides. Large scented flowers in the summer followed by interesting seed heads.

Acacia Dealbata
The Mimosa is a beautiful tree that holds a special place in our hearts at the Secret Garden Centre. Some of you may remember our stunning tree, which we lost in a bad winter storm a few years ago. But fear not! We intend to plant a new Acacia soon. Acacias are a great addition to a sunny garden. The grey-green foliage forms a great backdrop to the bright yellow pompom-like flowers that appear in early spring.

Hamamelis ‘Ruben’
In the depths of winter, unassuming bare stems of Hamamelis ‘Rubin’ spout with the most curious-looking maroon flowers with sweet citrus aroma that carrys on the wind. Textured oval leaves from spring that turn a blaze of colour in the autumn before falling. Easy to grow and trouble free.
