Festive Greenery and Wreaths

The Secret Garden centre stocks a good selection of Festive greenery and wreaths during December. Make your own table centerpieces, wreaths, or even a garland if you are feeling creative.

Festive Greenery

Noble Fir and Eucalyptus

Noble fir is one of the most traditional foliage to use when making wreaths and table centerpieces. It is long-lasting, and pine-scented with a greyish-green colour.

We are still not sure how Eucalyptus became a festive greenery staple in the U.K but we like it. The grey foliage smells amazing and it even looks good when it dries out.

Ilex stems and Mistletoe

A simple stem of ilex berries is all you need in a vase for a classy Christmas display. Treat these stems of berries the exact same as a bunch of flowers. Cut the stem when you get home and place it into a vase of clean water. Refresh the water weekly. These stems are truly long-lasting.

Roger will be visiting the mistletoe auction in early December to get our mistletoe.

Mistletoe should also be treated the same as cut flowers. Hang a single piece of mistletoe up and leave the remaining stems in a vase of water. Replace the hanging stem every few days with a fresh piece. Keep out of reach of children.

Noble Wreaths

These Noble fir wreaths are ideal for making your own decorated wreath or table piece. The hard work has been done for you so all you need to do now is decorate it. The Secret Garden has ribbons, Berries, pinecones, dried fruit, and more to make your wreath unique. Foraged rose hips and ivy make a lovely addition. Use festive greenery and wreaths together to make easy table centerpieces.
